SENIORS: Financial Aid Help Resources 2023-24
WHAT IS FINANCIAL AID: A variety of financial aid sources are available to help you pay for college or career school. Financial aid can come from federal, state, school, and private sources to help you pay for college or career school. Your eligibility depends on your Expected Family Contribution, your year in school, your enrollment status, and the cost of attendance at the school you will be attending. The financial aid office at your college or career school will determine how much financial aid you are eligible to receive. If you have specific questions about your financial aid, be sure to contact the financial aid office at the campus you plan to attend.
COMPLETE THE FAFSA FORM: You can begin filling out the FAFSA application for 2024-25 (your freshman year of college) as of DECEMBER 31st!

College Goal Wisconsin Workshop (in-person & virtual options)
College Goal Wisconsin helps students put their hands on money for college by accessing federal and state financial aid. The statewide program is designed to assist students and families in the timely completion of their Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). For the fall of 2023, College Goal Wisconsin will be hosting several 2023-2024 FAFSA completion events throughout Wisconsin. The FAFSA completion events will connect students and families with FAFSA experts to guide them through the FAFSA-completion process. During the event, participants will view a video introducing them to the financial aid process, after which volunteers will be available to field their questions as they complete their FAFSAs. Each session will begin at 6:00 p.m., and should wrap up by around 7:30 p.m. Volunteers will receive a how-to guide in coming weeks with additional information.
